Gateway to the Feather River Canyon
Registration for the 2026 Western Pacific Railroad Historical Convention is now closed. Register at the door.
The convention will be held at the Feather Falls Lodge and Casino in Oroville, California. Oroville is the Gateway to the Feather River Canyon and was the Western Pacific's base for canyon operations. The city also features a Sacramento Northern branch, the Oroville Dam Railroad and various lumber and industrial railroads that fed traffic to the WP system.

But if you can′t join us? We are offering a Virtual Convention option produced by TSG Multimedia.
The virtual convention will be produced by TSG Multimedia and be broadcast over a Zoom link that will be provided to the registrants. Virtual convention will include presentations and additional features from the overall convention.
Prior to the event you will get an email link to stream each day′s presentations. And the link will still work for a few weeks afterwards if you can′t watch it all live.

We also plan to run our caboose train ride at the Museum in Portola on Sunday October 4, 202 to support the convention. Train rides will be 11 - 2.

Thursday, October 1st
15 Deluxe King Rooms non-smoking: $117 + tax per night
5 Deluxe Double Queen Room, non-smoking: $126 + tax per night
Friday & Saturday, October 2nd and 3rd
15 Deluxe King Rooms non-smoking: $162 + tax per night
5 Deluxe Double Queen Room, non-smoking: $171 + tax per night

Provide the dates you want to stay and the group booking code or group name “Feather River Rail Society.” Feather Falls Lodge will hold a reservation with a major debit or credit card number—no advance payment required.

Late checkout available upon request with an additional fee.
