 Steve Habeck and Greg Elems decided to make up a couple of SN heralds to put on the SN 1642. They were to go on when it gets the green paint. But since it looked good with the fresh brown primer Steve and Greg decided to put the one on that the public could see from the loading platform. SN never used these on their cabooses but the old WP metal plate looked bare so they decided to dress the caboose up with them. - 10/15/22 Greg Elems
