WPRM Ed Dickens Big Boy Dinner 4-8-26

The Feather River Rail Society hosted a visit by Union Pacific’s famed "Big Boy" No. 4014, the world′s largest operating steam locomotive on April 8, 2026. Following the day′s event, there was a special dinner held at the Nakoma Resort near Portola. This fundraiser for the Western Pacific Railroad Museum featured a talk by Ed Dickens, Senior Manager of Heritage Operations for the Union Pacific and head of the "Big Boy" crew.
