WP FRRS Logo

The All Volunteer Feather River Rail Society is currently working on the following restoration projects.  These restorations depend heavily on donated money and materials, as well as donated labor.  The FRRS is in no way funded by taxpayer funds or any other types of automatic funding, other than what is donated by members and the public, and income generated by admissions.  The equipment that calls Portola home is here at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum because it has outlived its usefulness to someone else.  Due to this fact, and the fact that these are all old railroad equipment, often with worn parts or faded paint, each piece takes a large amount of money, parts, resources and labor to keep them presentable and, if possible, operable.  Please consider helping with volunteer time (you don't have to be an expert!), money or support.
