WP 725 survived the Union Pacific acquisition and saw service for a while with the UP before going to the Iowa Interstate Railroad. She was, in fact, the last locomotive still in Western Pacific colors to see service on home rails.  When the 725 was sent for repainting in the midwest in 1985, a major part of the WP image left as well.  This locomotive was purchased by FRRS after the Iowa Interstate Railroad retired her.  Eventually, the 725 will be restored to service.
